As the name suggests, this bunk house travel trailer is a complete bungalow fitted within an automobile. It's loaded with a fireplace, refrigerator, master bedroom, spacious closets, and cabinets in the bathrooms and kitchen along with chic furniture to complement the interior stylistic designs. The exact definition of a bunkhouse is not clear, as there seems to be no exclusive agreement on what it means or looks like.

Contact us today and let’s get started on designing your ideal bunkhouse kits and discuss a profitable ROI for your business. When adding under-bed storage, check proportions to be sure sleepers have enough headroom and both bunks look balanced, Williamson advises. This mainly depends on the location, amenities and quality of your chosen bunkhouse.

How to Build a Shed Bunkhouse

In general, a bunkhouse should have decent beds or cots with fresh linens and enough space to walk around the room freely. There should be electricity in the common areas along with adequate lighting to see by. The bunkhouses should preferably have a dining area where groceries can be stored and cooked on a stove or grill (if guests provide their own food). At least one communal shower and bathroom facility is preferable with at least two for larger bunkhouses.

Including a convertible dinette booth, a jack-knife sofa, and a front king-size bed, bringing the total sleeping capacity of this trailer up to 10. Like all Conestoga bunkhouse kits, covered porches are included with all bunkhouse cabins. You’ll love the price especially when you see how quickly you can start turning a profit. Many places also allow people to camp on their property either in designated areas or right around the bunkhouses themselves.

Generally, you should expect to pay around US dollars per night for a spot in a shared room. If there's only one single bed available, then be prepared to pay more than that. Also remember that prices are usually inclusive of VAT (value added tax). Finding it hard to choose between a pricey, spacious model and one with affordable yet smaller floorplans? A lot of unanswered questions pop in one’s mind when one is unable to decide on a product, and the internet seems too full of vague answers.

A bunkhouse is a barracks-like building that historically was used to house working cowboys on ranches, or loggers in a logging camp[1] in North America. As most cowboys were young single men, the standard bunkhouse was a large open room with narrow beds or cots for each individual and little privacy. The bunkhouse of the late 19th century was usually heated by a wood stove and personal needs were attended to in a cookhouse and an outhouse.

Floor Plan

There has always been something ruggedly macho about bunkhouse kits, and believe it or not, they’re still quite popular today! A bunkhouse is an open barracks-style log cabin meant to house several people comfortably. The days of multiple cowboys and ranchers looking for a good night’s sleep after a hard day of labor may be a thing of the past, but we still get the call to create custom log bunkhouse kits from clients all over the world. Our Bunkhouse is the perfect cabin for a family outing, hunting cabin, or to pack in a bunch of munchkins for a backyard sleepover. The smallest of this design sleeps three with a set of bunk beds and a Loft above the 4’ porch.

Generally speaking, a bunkhouse offers budget accommodation for guests to stay in overnight. They usually consist of small rooms with two or three beds in them, which can accommodate up to four people (not including children under the age of 12). You'll commonly find bunkhouses next to campsites and holiday parks, but they tend to vary regarding size and comfort level. It's also noting that you cannot book a bunkhouse online; instead, you need to make your reservation by contacting the owner directly. The Mossy Oak Lite bunkhouse travel trailer is made for camping lovers and passionate outdoor adventure seekers.

At under 30 feet, it has a very roomy feeling, and the kitchen is loaded with adequate lighting, focal cabinets, and a stylish grey refrigerator to boost the aesthetics once you enter the bunkhouse. There is plenty of cabinet and closet storage to keep stuff, and a master bedroom has a large bed to give you a homey feeling. Thanks to the Voyage V3033BH’s rear bunkhouse, open living area, huge L-shaped kitchen, and private front bedroom with a queen-sized bed and dual wardrobes.

White trim delineates the bunkhouse structure and a cool battleship gray complements the 4’ by 12’ deck addition. A cobblestone path connects the bunkhouse to the cottage and boxwood shrubs, perennials and potted flowers neatly hug the deck. We built the frames, stretched the screens tight and attached using a staple gun. Even though making these doors from scratch and hanging them took a whole day, it has been the best addition! There is nothing better than sleeping with a cool breeze flowing in or watching the waves crash the shore without annoying bugs. Opting for the taller walls made all the difference in giving the illusion that the space is larger than 120 square feet.

Water leaks, insulation instalment for winters, and roof replacements are other burdens on service costs. This is why you need to be aware of all such flaws so that your bunkhouse trailer won’t let you down. The large rear bunkhouse on the Forest River Flagstaff Super Lite 29BHS isn’t the only thing that this well-designed camper has going for it though. As the Jay Feather 27BHB offers up to a nine-person sleeping capacity, while still proving a very open and spacious floorplan, great for entertaining or just hanging out. There are always trade-offs and compromises though when it comes to RVs and travel trailers. Which makes the camper almost 20 feet shorter compared to some of the longest travels with bunkhouses.

The latter is more common as it provides additional income for those who run these types of facilities, but there's always the potential for danger if guests aren't careful (like falling into a fire pit). Bunks usually have no privacy curtains so everyone must be willing to share their space with others who use the same room/bunkhouse . There are no TVs in most cases because the only time anyone will be there is while sleeping and some might consider watching TV while sleeping to be counterproductive. Every item in the bunkhouse spells luxury, whether it is the wooden flooring, dry-glazed cabinetry, refrigerator, outdoor TV, LED lighted rooms, entrance steps, porcelain flush bathrooms, or a queen-sized residential mattress.

As the Flagstaff Super Lite 29BHS’s large rear bunkhouse provides kids or guests their own separate space to enjoy. The Jayco Jay Feather is one of the most popular travel trailers that Jayco makes, thanks to its premium construction, class-leading features, and multiple-well laid-out floorplans. But that’s not the only sleeping space offered in this large well-equipped travel trailer, as the 291BH also offers three other sleeping areas as well. One of the cheapest travel trailers on the market today with a bunkhouse is the Forest River Grey Wolf 23DBH. For a small-sized and lightweight camper, the Coleman Light 1805 RB is definitely a winner. It does not compromise on any features despite the relatively small size it has.

Apart from the beds, having a bathroom, closet, and refrigerator will make your road trip more accessible and homier. You can settle for a luxurious or a budget-friendly floorplan based on your needs and requirements. The Winnebago Voyage V3033BH is one of six different floorplans available for the trailer, but it’s by far one of the most popular. However, it’s not just its larger size that would allow the Sportsmen 362BH to be used as an RV park model though.

At the 2018 Haven Conference, three lucky winners were selected to make their dream projects a reality with the help of The Home Depot. Read below on how one of the winners, Amie Freling Brown of Meme Hill Studio, was able to transform a backyard shed into anyone’s nautical-themed lake bunkhouse. Because we only use the best materials, our bunkies have an incredible acoustic quality about them. It’s hard to explain, but by combining rockwool insulation with two-pane glass and plywood paneling, the result is a sensory experience like none other. If possible, always call ahead before you leave for your destination - otherwise you risk not being able to check in until the next day! It's also important to note that some establishments may charge extra fees for late arrivals or "overtime" stays - so again it would be best to call ahead to avoid any surprises.

Our manufacturing process utilizes CNC routers to cut precision plywood parts that provide ease of assembly and superior structural strength. Unlike traditional "stick frame" buildings, THE BUNKIE CO. can be assembled with simple tools and practical step-by-step instructions within a matter of days. These examples are programmatically compiled from various online sources to illustrate current usage of the word 'bunkhouse.' Any opinions expressed in the examples do not represent those of Merriam-Webster or its editors.

With an average retail price of just under $40,000, the Coachmen Explore Apex Ultra-Lite 300BHS provides a lot of bang for your buck, which is probably why this bunkhouse travel trailer is so popular with RVers. The Forest River Rockwood Geo Pro G20BHS is proof that good things do come in small packages, as it’s one of the smallest and lightest travel trailers available that still offers a bunkhouse. As the Forest River Grey Wolf 23DBH can sleep up to eight people at a time, thanks to its rear bunkhouse with two double bunks, a large u-shaped convertible dinette booth, and a front queen bed.

You will most likely have to bring your own soap, towels and toilet paper. But some establishments offer these services for additional charges, so do check before you make a booking. Bunkhouses are usually located in close vicinity to campgrounds; if they're not part of the campground itself, then they'll at very least be within easy walking distance. If you're staying at a privately owned facility which is separate from any other lodging or service that requires paid admission (such as a ski resort) then it'll either be at ground level or accessed by elevator.

Clever bunks are there when you need them, disguised when you don’t. Designer Margaret Donaldson snuck custom quarters for four into this media room, installing doors on a recessed track that allows them to pivot, fold, and stack flat against each of the side walls when guests are over. We built two ladders and painted them gray to pull out the tones in the ceiling and vinyl flooring. I added black door handles to both sides of the ladders for an extra place to grab as the kids climb up to the top bunks.

In contrast to most forms of low-income housing which provide only one room per person, the bunkhouse offers shared space where inhabitants eat and socialize as well as sleep. In general there is no privacy because all occupants use common bathrooms and kitchen areas; however some more expensive versions do exist that have bathroom facilities for each small bedroom. Some travel trailers might be too large-sized to fit in some RV parks and forests. It can also be problematic to store the camper in your house if you’re already short on parking space. Bunkhouse campers maximize floor usage and storage spaces, so you can safely stack everything in different spaces. One can utilize the pass-through storage, or the space beneath the bunk beds, closets, cabinets, drawers, etc.

At the same time, keep in mind the RV loans which are different from automobile loans. Lake George Boat Rides & Tours

lake george dinner cruise

In 1910 the company built the 2nd Horicon up at its dry dock in Baldwin (2 miles south of Ticonderoga). She was the longest and fastest passenger-carrying vessel ever to sail on Lake George. Her two twin boilers (lobster return type) with a 10 foot piston stroke powered her walking beam engine with 1280 horsepower, this propelled her and her (max capacity) 1,500 possible passengers to a speed of 21 mph! A truly magnificent vessel, but she gets better. She had an elegant dining room, a saloon, and several small cabins built on her decks. In the 1920’s she was even modified to carry small automobiles between landings in the stern section of her first deck. The Ticonderoga was the first of only 2 Lake George Steamboat Company ships to not be built on Lake George.

THE ADIRONDAC

This was pretty much an early experiment for what we now know as plywood. She made 2 trips to Ticonderoga (32 miles up the lake) each week. The other days were used much as we use our boats today; for sightseeing. Many people were willing to pay the $2.00 fee for the ship ride.

Opening Hours

Fireworks displays are always bursting in the nights skies of Lake George, and watching the show is from the deck of a cruise ship has become one of the favorite activities for couples visiting the area. Fireworks cruises leave the dock most Thursday evenings in July and August, and some even offer dinner. The Mohican’s two propellers were driven by Fletcher steam engines, the steam being generated by the burning of two tons of coal each day. She proceeded under steam power through the World War II years, at which time she was the only passenger vessel plying the lake.

Contact Lake George Steamboat Company

She had a wooden hull, primitive steam engines and was able to steam to the other end of the lake in about 8 hours (the present day Mohican can make it in just under 3 hours). As time rolled on, steam technology and ship building practices allowed for the building of larger and faster wooden hulled ships. Lake George is the crown jewel of Adirondack waters, and a ride on a boat cruise is the most cherished way to take in all 32-miles of the lake. Before roadways were developed, cruise ships served as crucial transportation to distant towns for the area’s residents and visitors. As time passed, Lake George cruise ship companies began to focus their trips on sightseeing which quickly became one of the regions top attractions.

She was the first steel-hulled ship to ply the waters of Lake George. But later on that year it was determined that the ship was too top heavy and wide. So after the season she was taken up to Baldwin, hauled out and cut into 2 pieces; 20 feet was added to her midships, bringing her to the grand total length of 223 feet.During her years of service the Sagamore would offer quite a deal. For only $1.50 the Sagamore would take you from Caldwell (Lake George Village) and stop at all the hotels and landings around the lake, for another buck you would be served a fine meal along the journey. But the Sagamore’s life wasn’t always so cheery.

We provide the best Lake George experience possible to all who visit this special place.

Built almost entirely of mahogany, teak, and yellow pine, this beautiful ship is glass enclosed on the first two decks. The second deck ceiling has glass sections allowing for stunning day and night views! The boat can seat up to 80 people for sit down dinners and formal buffets. Casual buffets may be served for up to our maximum guest capacity of 150 people. Established in 1817, the Lake George Steamboat Company has been operating on Lake George for over 200 years. Experience the beauty of Lake George and the surrounding Adirondack Mountains on a cruise aboard the Minne Ha Ha, the MV Mohican II or the company’s flagship Lac du Saint Sacrement.

She was only 72 feet long and weighed 67 tons (the Mohican weighs 200 tons). This propeller was initially fired by a wood burner boiler, but then in 1877 new grates were made so she could burn coal instead. The Ganouskie’s job was to carry up to 50 people southward while the Minne Ha Ha (I) carried them northward. In 1870 the Ganouskie started to transport mail and other small packages.

In 1817, this was the only real mode of transportation around the lake, as there were no roads at the time. Then in 1821, after just 4 seasons of operating on Lake George, the James Caldwell burned down mysteriously while at dock. Specifications called for a boiler producing 6,000 pounds of steam per hour, which in turn would produce a little more than over 200 horsepower, ample for the main engines and auxiliaries. The boiler was manufactured by the international Boiler Works of East Stroudsburg, PA.

She had been a propeller-driven vessel, but her design had retained the character and grace of the vessels of the 19th century. Mr. Robert Simons, a noted marine architect, was retained and he produced an extremely attractive design for the 189 foot 6 inch vessel (the largest to sail on the inland waters of New York State). In 1947, a maritime lawyer from New York City, Captain Wilbur Dow acquired the Steamboat Company. He again renovated the Mohican in 1967, built the sternwheeler Minne-Ha-Ha in 1969 and, following an eleven-year construction effort, placed the Lac du Saint Sacrement in service in 1989. Following the Civil War, through a series of transportation consolidations, the Steamboat Company became part of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad System, serving as a link in that company’s New York City to Canada operations. In 1882 a railroad branch was built between Glens Falls and Lake George.

He was blinded by smoke and he steered the ship into a large exposed rock which sent the boat to careen out into the lake. As the fire spread the passengers jumped into the lake to escape the flames. The ship then sank into the depths of Lake George to the south of the Cook’s Island at Temple Knolls. The only deadly accident in the company’s long history had claimed the lives of 6 people. The John Jay’s remains, although badly decayed, can still be seen today. The William Caldwell was built at the northern end of Lake George in Ticonderoga in the spring of 1838.

This bought him enough time to make it into shallow water, where she sunk in only 18 feet of water. She was 145 feet long and 20 feet wide and she drafted 8 feet while weighing 250 tons. On Tuesday July 29th, 1856 a fire broke out on the ship and burnt through the steering cables. The Captain (E.S. Harris) braved the flames to reach the emergency steering system in the stern of the ship.

Each cruise gives guests a chance to marvel at Lake George's pristine waters, stunning mountain backdrop, and picturesque islands. Whether it’s your first time visiting or your 40th, Waterfront Hospitality promises the most memorable ways to enjoy the sights of our magical lakefront village while relaxing in comfort and style. On April 15, 1817 a company was incorporated by the New York State Legislature to operate commercial shipping on Lake George.

Cruise Ship Rooms Cruise Staterooms Accommodations

carnival cruise stateroom

And staterooms aboard Mardi Gras are packed with innovative changes to both. It’s the way the ring-lit vanity mirror lights you evenly and shadow-free as you get ready. And even those reading lights, recessed into the wall so you can read in bed without waking anyone! (Enough USB charging ports for everybody’s stuff? Oh yes!) Thoughtful, guest-centric design is how we do it… and all this in-room convenience comes paired with a fresh new look. If your stateroom has a balcony, you’ll have a private outdoor space to relax and enjoy the fresh air.

It might be several hours before your luggage arrives at your door, so don’t worry if it’s not there when you first get inside, but when it arrives you might have questions on what to do next. Now that you’ve found your cabin, you may meet your room steward for the first time. They will introduce themselves to you, maybe give you their card with contact info on it.

PREMIUM-VIEW EXTENDED BALCONY

By choosing a stateroom on Carnival Cruise, you gain access to a comfortable and personalized space that enhances your overall cruise experience. It offers privacy, convenience, stunning views, and the opportunity to create cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Staterooms on Carnival Cruise also offer a range of customizable options to suit your preferences.

TOP-TO-BOTTOM, FRONT-TO-BACK FUN

During your cruise, you may be notified that your balcony will be cleaned and or painted. This means that it is safe to drink from the tap in your cabin bathroom, as well as from the taps in the restaurants and public areas of the ship. Yes, you can drink the water from your bathroom on a Carnival Cruise. The water on Carnival Cruise ships is treated and filtered to meet the standards of the World Health Organization and the U.S. No, you do not need to set up the bunk beds or any other beds in your Carnival stateroom each night.

Carnival Cruise Cabins: Carnival Cruise Stateroom Categories Explained

One exception is the new Carnival Venezia, which has a darker (faux) wood finish to furniture in cabins that ties into the ship's Italy theme. Picking a cabin on a Carnival Cruise Line ship isn't nearly as complicated as picking a cabin on, say, a Royal Caribbean or a Celebrity Cruises ship. Your private stateroom is more than just a place to rest and recharge — see the comfy options available. The fun continues when you reach your port — there’s a huge variety of shore excursions to choose from. Start by exploring the incredible ports we visit… and the fun things to do, both on the ship and ashore.

Royal Caribbean Announces Cancellation of All Cruise Stops to Private Island

Passengers could enter a lower class facility, but never one above what they had booked. Vestiges of this system remain on a few transatlantic ocean liners, but most cruise ships offer equal access for all, regardless of cabin selection. If you want to spend some time in relative privacy outdoors, consider a balcony cabin, known as a veranda on some ships. Standard balcony cabins are 225 square feet including the balcony, although larger verandas may push the square footage up slightly. Some ships offer categories 8M and 8N, which are extended balconies, and 9B and 9C, considered premium balconies. Study the ship’s deck plan carefully before selecting a balcony cabin, as the location of your balcony can affect everything from noise to movement of the ship.

Having a comfortable place to sleep and shower is most important, and every cabin onboard a cruise ship will provide that. The Havana Zone is located on forward Deck 8 and contains six Cabana Suites along with a variety of staterooms that include Interiors and Oceanviews. The Havana Cabanas have balconies with chairs and hammocks that overlook an open promenade that wraps around the front of the ship.

Carnival Cruise offers a diverse range of stateroom options to suit every traveler’s preferences and budget. On many cruise ships, inside cabins are smaller than oceanview and balcony cabins. On Carnival Panorama, for instance, most inside cabins measure 185 square feet. That's the same size as the interior area of some oceanview and most balcony cabins on the ship (not including the extra square footage from the balcony). Located on Deck 10, my coworker's extended balcony stateroom felt very spacious and functional.

Family Harbor staterooms are available in interior, porthole, oceanview, balcony, and suite designs. Family Harbor staterooms are another type of Carnival specialty accommodation on larger ships. They are designed with families in mind, featuring whimsical nautical décor and more spacious layouts for multiple guests to relax. Additional amenities include extra options for young passengers, such as included babysitting services. Interior cabins are found on all Carnival cruise ships, and while they lack any view of the ocean, they are more affordable for budget-conscious travelers. The lack of an exterior view makes these rooms darker, which is ideal for sensitive sleepers.

I was delighted with the three American style plugs at the desk and no less than four USB ports for charging the phone, my Apple watch, computer and other electronic accessories. The nightstands, however, are small, topped with slim metal trays that are far too low for the bed and barely large enough for a phone, let alone anything else. On the plus side, the main light control switches and a convenient unfolding reading light above the bed were a nice touch. That's why we've got enough variety to satisfy any type of fun seeker. When you’re on a Carnival cruise, you have your choice of stateroom styles and locations designated as Interior, Ocean View, Balcony or Suite.

In all my years of cruising, I’ve never ran into someone I know onboard a cruise ship, so this was a fun coincidence. While Carnival Celebration is a big ship that rides the seas well, for guests with seasickness issues, cabins to avoid would be those that are far forward or in the back of the ship as they experience more movement. Also, staterooms on mid to aft Decks 15, 9 and 5 might be subject to noise due to their proximity to busy public areas. In standard cabins, Carnival provides a bar of soap and in the shower, dispensers with body wash and shampoo. Spa cabins have upgraded Elemis amenities and Family Harbor cabins have split bathrooms, one with a junior tub and sink and the other with shower, toilet and sink.

All cruise ships are required to have railings that are at least 42 inches high on all open decks and balconies. Interior staterooms are typically the quietest, as they do not have any windows or balconies. Oceanview staterooms and balcony staterooms may be more noisy, as they are located on the outside of the ship and may be closer to public areas. Balcony cabins are what everyone wants these days, and Carnival is building its newest ships with far more of them than in the past. As noted above, about 44% of the cabins Carnival Panorama are balcony cabins. But that percentage jumped to 56% on the newer Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration.

Each stateroom is equipped with essential amenities to enhance your cruising experience. These amenities typically include a comfortable bed, a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub, a television, a mini-fridge, and ample storage space for your belongings. From cozy interiors to spacious suites, Carnival Cruise offers a wide range of stateroom options to suit every traveler’s needs and preferences.

We also show the cabin codes thatCarnival uses to classify the different cabins on the ship. You can mouse over the cabin code for a description of the type of stateroom cabin the code signifies. Note that on some Carnival ships, specific categories of balcony cabins have larger balconies than most.

And don’t forget to ask your room steward for help if you need anything. You will also find more on the counter near your mini fridge, but if you are like me, you want a larger cup to keep water and other soft drinks cold in the Caribbean heat. Leave your Stanly Cup home and bring one of these less expensive options to travel with. Room stewards on Carnival Cruise ships are also responsible for maintaining the safety of the staterooms. For more information about Carnival cruise cabins, please visit the Carnival website and book your cruise online or by contacting a travel agent.

Carnival Pride ship details, destinations, deck plans and more

carnival cruise the pride

The Premium plan provides access to all websites and apps and includes streaming services like YouTube and Spotify. The cost on our cruise was $25 per day or $123 for the entire cruise. In short, if you like a classic Carnival cruising experience in a more intimate setting, Carnival Pride might just be your perfect fit. Beyond these four options, you can also order pizza and room service for nominal fees. There is likewise a range of culinary experiences offered on the ship, including The Chef’s Table dining experience, wherein a limited number of cruisers enjoy a chef-led dinner, and themed breakfasts for families.

Spa & Fitness

There also are shaded seating areas with wicker furniture and cushions. Two Ping-Pong tables sit at one end and were popular with people of all ages. The right side of the deck, by the forward pool is also the ship's smoking section, so be aware of where you choose your lounge chair. While this pool is active, it's not nearly as crowded as the main pool and certainly not as loud.

Suite (ST)

Carnival Pride does feature Carnival’s famous Waterworks area! The Waterworks water park offers children, families and fun-lovers of all ages two twisty water slides and other fun water features. Due in part to the ship's layout, which helped disperse passengers throughout the ship, Carnival Pride felt more intimate, but not necessarily, more crowded, than other cruise ships we've sailed. And we were never bored, despite it being a smaller Carnival ship. We had a great time playing mini-golf, splashing in one of the pools, catching the evening shows and spending time with Dr. Seuss.

Ocean Suite

Carnival Pride's European season concludes with a 15-day transatlantic journey departing on October 28th, 2023, and concluding on November 12th, 2023, in Tampa, Florida. The table below will help you understand what you might spend onboard a Carnival ship. That means Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Starry, Mug Root Beer, and Mountain Dew, although the selection can vary by ship. Coming in at 963 ft long and 106 ft wide, it's roughly the length of 2.7 football fields, as wide as 2 tractor trailers, and the same height as a 12-story building. Enjoy old time favorites like a hot pastrami on rye, grilled Reuben, or roasted turkey breast on a country roll.

Pools and Hot Tubs on Carnival Pride

The ship is scheduled to remain sailing from Baltimore through April 2026, though it is possible that deployment may change if plans to reopen the port to cruise traffic take longer than expected. At this time, however, there is no indication that such a dramatic change may be necessary. Another way to gauge the cost of a cruise is to consider how much you'll spend on board. Even though a lot is included in the base cruise fare, you may still spend money on things like spa treatments, specialty dining, drinks, and excursions.

Carnival Pride current position

Children ages 2 to 8 must be signed in and out by an authorized adult age 18 or older. Children ages 9 to 11 may sign themselves in and out if parents provide permission. Otherwise, they are subject to the same sign in/sign out policy as the younger children. Parents must provide diapers and toiletries for children who are not potty trained. Children must be potty trained to use all water facilities onboard. In the Noble Library on Deck 3, passengers can borrow a book to read or play one of the many board games with family and friends.

Relax with your favorite drink at nearly 20 fun bars and lounges and escape to the adults-only area that is a peaceful retreat. Thrill seekers will love the 214-foot-long twister water slide at the large water park. Get some retail therapy at the shops where you can find duty-free items. Romance awaits at the onboard wedding chapel, where you can say "I do" or renew your vows. Carnival is known for its family friendliness, and Pride is no exception. This is readily apparent in the many Dr. Seuss-themed activities, including the "Seuss-A-Palooza Parade & Story Time" and the Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast.

Staterooms come standard with amenities such as flat-screen televisions, in-room safes and non-stocked mini bars. Built at Kvaerner-Masa Yards in Helsinki, Finland, Carnival Pride cost the cruise line approximately $375 million to build. The ship debuted on January 12, 2002, christened by astronaut Tamara Jernigan, in Port Canaveral, Florida. After, the ship began sailing around the Caribbean from its Florida base.

The theme is based on beauty in art, beauty in the human body, beauty in the world's architecture, and beauty in life as general. The ship has a multi-million dollar artwork collection with numerous pieces on display in public areas. The artworks include Michelangelo, Raphael, Botticelli, Da Vinci, also details of the architecture in Byzantine Empire, Victorian England, Ancient Greece, Italian Renaissance. For summer 2023 season, the ship was scheduled for another deployment in Europe (British Isles, UK and Iceland, Norwegian Fjords) out of Dover.

Look to personal training for a workout with that personal touch. Guests have told us we hit on something special with the cool Caribbean chill of the RedFrog Pub. We've taken the best parts and brought them poolside with the RedFrog Rum Bar, where the frog keeps the fun hopping day and night with all the island flava you know and love. Join the party at this poolside bar featuring a great selection of frog-approved Caribbean rum-based concoctions available by the glass or pitcher, plus plenty of Carnival’s signature private-label draft beer, ThirstyFrog Red. BlueIguana Tequila Bar is the onboard spot to chill and enjoy a slushy tequila drink or an ice-cold Mexican cerveza.

Jogging may not immediately come to mind when you think of things to do at sea, but it probably should. You don’t have to walk on water, you just have to get on a Carnival cruise. After all, if you’re going to jog, you’d be hard-pressed to find a place to do it with a more scenic view, or a more refreshing breeze — both of these are available in abundance when you go for an open-air jog on the upper-deck. Jogging tracks are available on all Carnival ships, and are even padded for long-distance comfort. So maybe you’ve had sushi on a cruise before, but you’ve never had it like Bonsai Sushi, our onboard seafood-and-soy-sauce spot. Dine amidst expertly-pruned bonsai trees while enjoying sit-down service and an affordable menu of delectable sushi and sashimi… plus rolls, soups, sides, sakes and desserts.

The Funship 2.0 refurbishments took place in 2014, when the ship was dry docked in the Bahamas. Like the entirety of the Spirit class, Carnival Pride was built to pass through the Panama Canal, and it features some of the smallest smokestacks you’ll see on any Carnival ship. The Mermaid Grille also serves as a casual dinner alternative, and Mermaid Bistro is the buffet-style Lido dining option.

Lifejackets are located within passenger/crew cabins (in the closet). Each of the cabins has a safe (located in the closet) with approx dimensions (inches/centimeters) – width (10/25), height (9/23) and depth (8/20). It is advisable not to use a valid credit card (or driver’s license), but an old expired card (or some rewards card) instead. Inside cabins with windows are category 4K – with obstructed views, and feature sliding glass doors (French Doors). Some rooms have a sofa and/or upper bed (Pullman) for 3rd/4th person. Some of the standard Interior staterooms have an upper/bunk bed for 3rd person.
